1. Introduction

DNP 3.0 (Distributed Network Protocol) is a kind of telecommunication standard and

is used at electrical distribution industry in America, Africa, Australia and so on. It is

designed to transmit relatively small packets of data in a reliable manner specifically

for SCADA application.

In MW100, DNP communication function has implemented at R3.03 special version

and which supports the function of the DNP Master, Slave, Client and Server. This

document describes about the DNP communication function in MW100.
